About me

I’m originally from Montgomery, AL. Armed with a B.S. degree in Marketing from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA, I began working for Chrysler Financial in Dallas, TX. However, my valuable professional experience came while working as the Marketing Coordinator for Partners in Education in Montgomery, AL. During this time, I gained experience in public relations, fundraising and grant writing. My previous positions taught me that marketing was not a field I wanted to continue working in. So, I decided to obtain a graduate degree in Accounting. I also plan to study for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam after graduation.

I come from a HUGE family. My grandmother has eleven children. Yes, eleven! I have an older sister named Vera. She has three children: Nick, Chris, and Amanda.
